Songwriter & multi-instrumentalist Alann8h has shared her sophomore EP Apollo 8, available to stream now on all DSPs worldwide. The six-song collection is an introspective dream pop masterpiece inspired by stargazing and contemplating the intricacies of life. The EP’s sound varies from acoustic guitar to lo-fi, R&B, & alternative beats.
“I found myself constantly looking up at the sky at night and feeling humbled and fascinated by many different thoughts that inspired a lot of the lyrics on the EP,” says Alann8h. “It includes many different aspects of my mind and each song has its own unique sound to it allowing something for everyone’s ears. Apollo 8 allowed me to work with other artists from around the world who I love like Feux and Jimi Somewhere. Alann8h takes inspiration from several worlds to devise her own unique sound. She captures her fans with a sultry voice over laid-back beats and ethereal melodies that compound her distinct lyrical story-telling abilities. Growing up, Alann8h and her four siblings split their time between her two hometowns of Bangkok, Thailand, and Whistler, Canada. While that feat sounds difficult to most, Alann8h embraced the two very different cultures in their entirety, allowing them to shape who she is and draw guiding lights from both to influence her artistry.
