SINI is an Armenian-American alt-rock singer-songwriter from Los Angeles, California, known for her enigmatic style and powerful storytelling. Music started as her solace and escape from a reality where she never felt she fit in. Her journey began with classical piano training as a child, performing in recitals, singing in choir, and dancing. After losing her mother and facing early struggles with depression, SINI’s main driving force became the message: “never let the pain in this world turn your heart cold.”

As she grew into her artistry in the LA underground music scene, SINI’s independent releases—Contagious, Maybe Red, and Higher—caught the attention of producer and engineer Eric Emery, who has worked with renowned artists like Blink-182, Alice Cooper, and The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus. Together, they are working on a concept project that explores the boundaries of the human experience, female rage, and trauma.

Her style is a unique blend of early 2000s alternative rock infused with modern pop influences. Through her raw and unfiltered lyrics, complemented by her soft, melodic, yet fiery vocals, SINI offers solace to fans who see their own struggles reflected in her songs, proving that even in the darkest of times, music can be a powerful lifeline.

My music is really just my truth. It’s every part of me that I keep unexposed in my life and relationships. I tend to be a pretty avoidant person, and music is what helps me confront the anxieties of being such a sensitive human being.
I want to and NEED to put it all out there. Whether it’s in my songwriting or in my performances. I want to make the listener/viewer feel something, even if they hate it.
STARVE, my latest single, is about unrequited obsession and an unfulfilled fantasy, all kept a secret till this day. I had these growing feelings for someone I definitely should not have had feelings for, and I got through it all by writing about it. I put whatever shameful feeling I had and poured myself into the music. Thankfully, all this person was meant to be was my muse. And that’s how STARVE was born.
