What’s special about this single? 

“HUSH” is the second single from my debut album ‘HUNTER’ and it’s a flirtatious club banger inspired by 2000s dance songs I grew up on. The lyrics are fierce and confident – “I’m miss temptation, you wanna know.” The music video for “HUSH” comes out in the next week!

How does it fit within the record?

‘HUNTER’ is about the transformation from the ‘hunted’ to the ‘HUNTER’ and “HUSH” captures that sense of stepping into your power, and feeling unapologetic about expressing that.

How is the single supposed to anticipate the record from a storytelling perspective?

I released “HUSH” as a single before the album dropped because I wanted my fans to experience that point where the page is turning and the character in the story of the song is becoming her most badass self.

What’s the main message of the record?

I wrote the song imagining people hearing it in the club or screaming out the lyrics in their car and I wanted it to feel like a complete release.

Why did you choose these themes for the record?

I love music that makes me feel empowered and leaves me feeling like the hottest version of myself. Every song on “HUNTER” approaches that in its own way.

What’s the most representative track in it and why?

“HUNTER” the title track is so special to me. It’s a pop record that’s playful and experimental with a crazy dance breakdown made for choreo and live stages. It positions the meaning of the “hunted” vs “hunter” in a unique way that’s probably unexpected from a first glance at the title.

What do you want to accomplish in your career overall?

I wanna take ‘HUNTER’ on tour and can’t wait for my fans around the world to experience this music and world in that way. I wanna meet the Rhearazzi, dance together and put on the sickest show for them! Being on stage is my favorite part about being an artist, so my wildest dream is being able to travel to new cities and perform every day.
