He’s only 22-years-old, has been co-signed by MGK, and has a powerful stadium ready voice. Will kicks off 2024 with an emotionally charged new single and music video titled “Harmless.”

The accompanying black-and-white self-directed visual threads together moments of chaos and tumult as Will Swinton experiences all of love’s ups and downs. Moving in a turbulent continuous take, he sings directly to the camera as the momentum culminates with acceptance. It serves as the perfect cinematic counterpoint to the song.

Tell us about the “Better Days” track. What inspired it?

Like many of the other songs on the EP, “Better Days” was an outlet to express my feelings dealing with a long distance relationship and the decision to split apart from that relationship.

Why did you decide to title your debut EP after it too?

While writing the EP, I constantly found myself reminiscing on the past. It felt fitting for the EP.

What’s the main vibe of this EP?

Sad

What do you think alternative and pop means in today’s industry?

I don’t really think much about genres. I’ve never made music based on that. I just like to make music I enjoy listening to.

You already performed a bunch. What’s the most fulfilling part of performing live?

When you put a song out into the world, you just hope that it connects. The cool thing about performing live is you can actually see your music connecting in real time.

What’s your main goal as an artist?

To be able to perform anywhere in the world and have people turn up.

Talk about your latest record “Harmless”?

It’s sonically different than anything else I’ve put out. I’m real excited for this next era of music. Have had a lot of fun playing this one.
