You can try to resist, but you won’t. LØLØ is officially in her villain era—and she’s doing it in style. Today, the Toronto-born alt-pop renegade announced her signing to Fearless Records, marking a major new chapter for one of the most magnetic voices in the modern pop-rock scene. Alongside the announcement, she’s unleashed her latest single “the devil wears converse,” a cheeky, brutally relatable takedown of that guy—you know the one.
With sharp lyricism, a head-nodding hook, and just enough bite to leave a mark, “the devil wears converse” is LØLØ at her best: raw, bold, and completely unbothered. “It’s about giving in to temptation,” she says. “You know it’s a bad idea—but he’s wearing cool shoes, and your brain is mush. Been there.”
Produced with the same fire that earned her comparisons to Olivia Rodrigo and Avril Lavigne, the track is a welcome shot of chaotic pop-punk adrenaline—just in time for LØLØ’s appearance at Vans Warped Tour Long Beach this weekend. She’ll also be hitting the road on the “Bigger Than You Think!” U.S. tour this summer, supporting scene legends Simple Plan, 3OH!3, and Bowling for Soup before launching into the final leg of her own headlining run this fall.
