Tell us about your upcoming performance at Live At Scorrier House, how did it come about?

The offer came through around March 2022 to play at the festival. We’ve always had fun performing in Cornwall. Plus I used to holiday here as a child, so we’re really looking forward to it.

How did you get to where you are now?

Where I am now is on the Isle of Arran. It’s 9pm, I’m sat in my camper van enjoying a wee dram. My family and I drove from Surrey to Scotland. We got here by ferry to the Island.

What should a song or piece of art communicate in your opinion?

A song could convey any number of emotions and tell a story.

Who were your top 3 artists last year?
WuLu Music. Green Tea Peng and David F Walker

What do you do when you’re feeling uninspired?

I go for a walk in nature. I live in a small village in Surrey. There are lots of fields and forest walks around. I enjoy walking and talking with my husband. It helps to clear the head. I come home feeling refreshed.

What are your 2022 projects and goals?

There are lots more shows to come with Morcheeba around Europe and we have a tour in America and Canada. Separate from that I’ll be performing with WuLu at his London show to celebrate the release of his new album Loggerhead.
