Lead track “Better Know” out on the 24th of January emerges as a stripped back, elegant production laying the perfect foundation for Alex’s impressive vocal abilities as he glides between full voice and falsetto, effortlessly dancing through intricate riffs. Stacked with layers of perfectly placed R&B harmonies, the track’s lyrical vulnerability shines through as Alex tells the empowering story of moving on from a broken relationship and finding your worth. ‘Falling from your lips, spilling from your eyes, no limit to the feelings you won’t imitate to throw scent off your lies, but I’m wise to it now’, he pleads as we reach the 30 hertzbeats-produced track’s emotional apex.

‘This EP is authentically me. When I sing these songs, I feel each lyric because I have lived them. The smooth soundscape reflects where I am mentally in my life. To me the release of Sentiments is a success of its own because I set myself a goal and achieved it in the form of 6 beautifully crafted songs.’
