Emerging rock band Mindless Crowd are set to make waves with the release of their latest album ‘Wanderlust’. The collection of tracks is a deep exploration of of the pitfalls and lessons one can likely find along the tumultuous journey to be an artist.
“The album is a winding journey of introspection. It’s a call to dare to step out of your daily routine and explore new horizons you may have dreamed of long ago. Along the way, you will encounter motivation, disillusionment, success and failure, but at the end, it’s up to you to hear the world your way. You will come out a little stronger with each step you take.” the band says.
In 2012 High school friends Alex (guitar/vocals) and Julien (guitar), teamed up with Gaël (bassist) and Lucas (drummer) to cover some of their favorite bands such as Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin and The Eagles before becoming Mindless Crowd.
Some of their inspirations also include The Doors and Dire Straits as well as Gorillaz, The Strokes and Dope Lemon but their music is utterly unique and their fans agree. With over 150,000 listens on Spotify, the rising rockers have a rapidly growing fanbase and are quickly becoming a formidable presence in the rock scene.
The path we choose is the wrong one until we accept that our past is what makes us strong. Do not hate your mistakes – you would have been worse without them” is the poignant message at the heart of their music.
Following the success of their debut EP, the band returns with a collection of tracks that showcase their unique blend. The new album ‘Wanderlust’ is available on all streaming platforms now.
