A true storyteller ultravividpink takes us on a journey of love, lust, and heartbreak as she explores the complexities and duality of God complexes, crippling insecurity, and self-worth. Taking twists and turns the lyrical content of the EP searches for answers as ultravividpink looks within, as well as at a relationship that is no longer serving her. Equal parts tender and charming ULTRA is infused with perfect pop hooks, emotive R&B melodies and intricately executed production cementing the young talent as a significant one to watch.
With her debut drop Pink Hues released back in 2022, the Spanish and Venezuelan decent artist has delivered a slew of deeply authentic and personal moments with her music, exploring topics such as co-dependency, anxiety and love. Having studied fashion journalism and promotion at the London College of Fashion, the rising talent was encouraged by friend Hugo Silvani (Pale Waves) to follow her dream of becoming an artist. Creating music with the likes of Jeshi and a new collaboration freshly released with prominent newcomers H.LLS on FEEL, ultravividpink is in all he right places. Balancing her creative expressions across music and fashion spaces, the rising creative has walked for London based designer Sinead Gorey at London Fashion Week and has modelled in music videos for Rita Ora and Sainte and has received early support from BBC Introducing.

Now that ULTRA has finally landed, ultravividpink continues the exciting trajectory carving a significant path in the London pop landscape and setting herself up as a significant one to watch for 2025.

What was is main inspiration behind the EP?

The creation of ULTRA was the consequence of many lows (yay). Loss especially, it was the precursor for all the words I had to put down into some sort of emotive matter to be consumed but also to serve as some sort of catharsis. Music really was something that helped me heal- hence why the project is conceptualised through an alien and her journey understanding human emotion. Heartbreak, mental and emotional pain and understanding the ego was a pretty alienating experience for me- which is contradicted greatly with the fact that these are all common and universal experiences. To summarise it was just the human experience, without rose tinted glasses, and how you can come out on top after a shitty time. Rolling with the punches sort of vibe.

What’s the most representative track on the EP and why?

All the tracks are united through similar production and the small sprinkles of uniqueness my friends and I added to each track…so it could remain somewhat cohesive. However, the main track is actually a tie between two (sorry i’m indecisive) I’d say the one that helped me as an artist the most is “Hate 2 Hate u”, it really allowed a raw side to come out, it’s extremely vulnerable and sad to be honest, a proper heartbreak song. Alternatively, the song ‘Ultra’  is a very powerful song in my opinion. I’ve never heard anything quite like it. Its a blend of somewhat rocky and menacing sonics opening in Spanish- referencing a more egotistical side of myself versus a sudden drop into english lyrics and a more anxiety driven rap- reflecting my desire for that ego to return. Which is why the lyrics read ‘where did you go/still need you here/ people round me/ need to believe/ we’re two of one/ cause when you’re all gone/ theres nothing but fear’. The two tracks are polar opposites but create similar reactions, which is to feel without restriction.
