kylekelly is one of those rare artists you just know is going somewhere. At just 20 years old, he is already emerging as one of the most compelling young voices in alt-pop. Through honest songwriting and emotionally detailed storytelling, he creates music that feels deeply personal while leaving room for listeners to find themselves in it.

Music became part of Kyle’s world early on. Raised in suburban New Jersey, he spent his formative years learning everything from piano and guitar to drums and bass, building a hands-on relationship with music that later shaped his artistic identity. By 17, he was already performing around New York City, refining the live instincts that continue to define him today.

His new alt-pop single, “it’s ALWAYS been about you,” pairs an instantly memorable melody with the kind of emotional pull that lingers long after the first listen. Kyle’s voice drives the song forward, showcasing both versatility and control, while rock-infused touches give the production a sharper, more distinctive feel.

It feels like taking “Can’t Help” from Parachute and mixing it with “Fireflies” from Owl City, then adding kylekelly’s unique style on top. The way he blends pop melodies with rock influences gives the song a distinctive feel, allowing familiar influences to feel fresh rather than derivative. Paired with the emotional honesty running through his songwriting, the result feels sincere and easy to connect with.

On top of the music, kylekelly has been building serious momentum. After touring with Daniel Seavey and currently supporting Natalie Jane across Europe, he has earned a reputation for turning every opening set into a memorable twenty-minute party full of pure impact and no filler.

“it’s ALWAYS been about you” is an infectious and lighthearted track with the kind of energy that can instantly lift your mood and close out the week on a high note. With more live dates on the horizon and currently supporting Natalie Jane on tour, kylekelly continues to build momentum both on and off the stage. Upcoming performances will also feature refreshed set lists, new material, and special guest Phendste, giving audiences even more to look forward to.
