After a year in quarantine, Fab The Duo is back with a vengeance with their angsty pop-rock anthem “Good Distraction”, and they look and sound better than ever.

Last time spoke with them, they told us all about their single “Our Love is Resistance” and now they make their fab return with the ultimate summer bop “Good Distraction”

With a sound inspired by artists like Hot Chelle Rae, One Direction, and P!NK, their euphoric new single “Good Distraction” is the perfect Post-Pandemic Bop. “Good Distraction” was written when they were sick and tired of hearing bad news and wanted something that “uplifts the lonely, empowers the sad, and gives listeners an exhilarating three-minute distraction from the world.”

The song is accompanied by a dazzling music video that encapsulates their new West Coast lifestyle. This video is packed with all the Hollywood cliches one can ask for, including a scenic joy ride in a ‘66 Mustang convertible, partying in the desert, palm trees galore, and a twist ending taken right out of “The Hangover”.

The fashion is edgy, gender-defying, and outright revolutionary as they wear everything from skirts with fluffy pink jackets, rainbow saches, and their signature eight-inch heels.

“We wrote Good Distraction during the middle of quarantine and were bombarded with bad news. We decided to write this song because we desperately needed an escape, and for just one day, we wanted a “good distraction”.

We wanted to show off our new LA home in our music video, so we gave viewers the quintessential “Cali” experience— including palm trees, joy rides in a convertible, and partying a little too hard in Joshua Tree. Our new look and sound reflects the fun and laidback California lifestyle and we’re really excited for people to see our transition from New York to LA.”
