English band Lilypads is the essence of Indie Pop. Slick harmonies and warm and charming songwriting is the perfect cocktail for their success. The duo has already made a name for themselves in the local London scene and visited some of London’s iconic venues, including The Old Queen’s Head and playing to sell-out crowds at The 02 Academy Islington.
With their latest track ‘Ode To You’ they show all their gratitude towards those who have been there for the band right from the start which is something we admire and would love to see more from acts considering how difficult a career in the music industry can be.
‘Ode To You’ is soothing, pleasant and feels comfortable on the ears. It’s almost the equivalent of a warm blanket on a rainy London day. The sky looks to be the limit for Lilypads and their sound and we could be looking back on this track as where it all started.
