Highschool Jacob, a rising star in the pop music scene, has swiftly captured the attention of listeners worldwide with his fresh sound and heartfelt songwriting. At the young age of 4, he first became acquainted with playing the piano and continued to expand his musical abilities by picking up the guitar at the age of 10. This early introduction to music laid the foundation for his artistic expression. Despite minimal encouragement, his unwavering passion for music guided him through high school, where he immersed himself in classical theory and jazz piano, forging a path marked by solitary dedication.

Highschool Jacob’s innovative spirit is evident in his releases, including the creative integration of video games with his music in the four-song collection “HSJ 2020.” Singles like “Mind Games” and “Die 4 U” have been gaining traction on popular playlists. As he prepares for the launch of a new EP and gets ready to perform with his four-piece live band, Highschool Jacob’s artistic journey is evolving, heralding an exciting new chapter in his burgeoning career.

In his latest track, “fall in,” Highschool Jacob encapsulates the essence of Carpe Diem, portraying the excitement of the first few steps in a new journey. Its dynamic composition seamlessly transitions between distinct sections, embodying a lively and unpredictable energy perfect for a night out. Inspired by the HSJ’s electronic music roots, the song features abrupt shifts between samples and synths for an “artisanal” feel to it all.

“‘Fall in’ is about letting yourself get wrapped up in the moment. I wanted to write a song about the excitement and anticipation that comes with trying something new with someone new.” Highschool Jacob

Engineered and mixed at Just For The Record in Los Angeles by Matt Cerritos and Moritz Braun, the song was created through collaboration with multiple songwriters, producers, and musicians. “Fall in” deviates from Highschool Jacob’s typical songwriting M.O. for a unique experience even for longtime fans.
