Following the release of her debut EP Club Solita, NEZZA premiered the music video for “Tenerte De Nuevo.” The multi-talented pop star teamed up with Trinidadian-American singer LATENIGHTJIGGY. NEZZA blends her Latina roots with elements of pop and R&B music.

Nezza released her debut EP Club Solita as part of her distribution deal with Virgin Music US Latin. To show her global appeal, she collaborated with LATENIGHTJIGGY in “Tenerte De Nuevo.” In the song, she mixes atmospheric pop with elements of Latin reggaeton music. NEZZA and LATENIGHTJIGGY sing to each other in Spanish and English about wanting to rekindle their romances. The bilingual chemistry they share comes to life in the music video. As an accomplished choreographer and dancer, NEZZA dances around the city with LATENIGHTJIGGY. It’s a fun and heartwarming video.

NEZZA’s music reflects her background of growing up in the Bay Area and her Dominican and Colombian roots. The Club Solita EP also features the sensual “Sola” in which she advocates for loving yourself after a breakup. The Spanish music video has over 173k views on YouTube. NEZZA’s previous Latin single “Corazon Frio” has over 1 million streams on Spotify. Showing her global appeal, the song received radio airplay in France (Radio Latina) and Costa Rica (VM Latino). NEZZA demonstrates the versatility of her bilingual flow in the R&B-infused ballad “Envolverme” and the empowering  song “Don’t Play.”

Tell us about the genesis of your project. How did you get to where you are now?

Club Solita came about during a series of multiple breakups in my life and phases that took place within all of those situations. I always like to write about what’s happening to me in the present in hopes of people relating to what I am experiencing at that time.

It’s been quite the journey for me but I’m very happy and appreciative of where I’m at in my career right now. Extremely excited about the future. Lots of blood, sweat and tears (a lot of tears) but we made it to Club Solita, we’re open, come in!

What is the favorite song you wrote and why?

Definitely SOLA, it hits the closest to home for me so it means a lot to perform it and sing it. It is amazing to see how many fans have been able to relate to it thus far. I wanted it to feel empowering and I think we did just that.
