Brooding and powerful, Lennikim is done with holding back.

Adrenaline arrives as a punchy and dark dose of enticing expression, seeing him unapologetically present his true self. Embracing change and self development, nothing is off limits for Lennikim. Adrenaline celebrates shapeshifting led by authentic creativity.

Sharing more, Lennikim explained: ‘I’ve always wanted to do stuff like this, but didn’t always have the possibility or courage to go there because so much was expected of me back then and I didn’t want to displease anyone. I was afraid to disrupt anything. Now that’s all I want to do. I’m always curious to see how further I can push things and experiment. I guess the message I want listeners to take away from this is do whatever you want and give no fucks. The second you start listening to yourself, you win.’

Earlier this year, Lennikim unveiled ‘See Me Now’, an infectious and euphoric demonstration of his talent for creating stand out anthems. The release coincided with his performance at Montreal Pride Festival, honoring his true identity and marking a new chapter in his career.

“This song is very different from what I used to be forced into doing. I think this song is a testament to how much I’ve grown as an artist. I’ve always wanted to do stuff like this, but didn’t always have the possibility or courage to go there because so much was expected of me back then and I didn’t want to displease anyone. I was afraid to disrupt anything. Now that’s all I want to do. I’m always curious to see how further I can push things and experiment. I guess the message I want listeners to take away from this is do whatever you want and give no fucks. The second you start listening to yourself, you win.

Adrenaline was written two years ago now. I’m somehow detached from it because of how long it took to complete. We went through so many versions and now I feel peaceful when I listen to it, which might sound ironic after hearing the song. It mostly helps me access my inner strengths. I feel strong and confident when I listen to the track. Which is awesome because I’m not always like that. I’m very hard on myself.

I would describe the sound/genre of this song as dark progressive pop. Very often I love to play with distortion, a strong hitting bass and heavy drum kits so there’s a lot of that in “Adrenaline”. I wanted it to feel like a punch in the face.”
