“This video represents the rose-colored lens world I grew up in—a glowing haze of perfection with a surface-level understanding of what it meant to love, to have a family, to have friends, or to be a normal kid. I swallow the pills every day and see what I’m told to see. The day I forget to take the pill leaves me confused and leads to me questioning what I’m actually being forced to take every morning. In the aftermath, I’m led to a door that will take me on a journey of self-discovery—a path to my identity.” Irene describes.
