What’s your story as an artist?

I grew up listening to early trance music in the last 90’s when I was 9-10 years old. Eventually this would shape and point me towards Doing and ultimately my sound today. Being a producer was not my first calling— I studied to become a lawyer actually. I didn’t full-on dedicate myself to music until 7-8 years ago

What inspired this last release?

I wanted to create a pretty mainstream track at first, very tech and psy trance with a mix of big room. However I couldn’t help but create an uplifting breakdown right in the middle of the track—eventually I decided to keep it going and everything else kind of fell into place.

What’s your favorite place or environment to write?

At a bar or a cafe… the busier the better. Melodies and concepts tend to be formed better when there’s people talking in the background but for full on mixing, always at the studio.

What’s a record that shaped your creativity?

New Order – Brotherhood

Who is an artist or band you look up to today?

Nirvana

What excites you the most about what you do ?

The endless possibilities of creating beautiful tunes

What is your view on genres and music styles since you mix a lot of them in your music?

As long as they fit “your sound” genres don’t really mean anything. But where I draw the line is when DJs just throw in hodgepodge top 40 and expect a career out of it— I mean you can, but it’s such a nearsighted thing to do.

How would you describe your act in one word?

Enigmatic
