RYTERBAND is an LA-based songwriter and producer known for his genre-blurring music, which ranges from minimalist acoustic ballads to energetic house beats. His debut EP has over 6 million streams, and he has signed tracks to renowned dance labels like Anjunadeep. RYTERBAND has also contributed to popular TV shows and films. His 2020 EP “Undefended” gained recognition for the standout track “Brilliant Eyes,” co-produced with Bob Cutarella. In 2021, he released the dance single “Make Me Wild” with prominent electronic producer Boxer, which reached #4 on the Beatport Melodic House Chart.
Coming off of the release of his sophomore EP, RYTERBAND has also just recently put out a music video for the leading single and titular song for the record. “Echoes” is about devotion, love, and bonds so strong they ripple across time and space.

The lyrics to “Echoes” evoke a profound longing, fear, and vulnerability. The song explores the inseparable but scary connection between two souls, with vivid imagery of a long night over the ocean. Secrets are shared, hearts left open, and the desire to meet somewhere distant is tinged with fear. The repeated theme of being alone is juxtaposed with an unwavering commitment to be there for the listener.

The music video opens with an ominous brain scan and an anxious old man, setting an undoubtedly cinematic and already heart-wrenching tone. I won’t describe the plot beyond this because it’s so excellent that my words couldn’t do it justice. Just be assured that between the acting and the cinematography, there’s a tale strong enough to match the emotive guitar and vocals.
