Emerging pop artist and talented singer-songwriter Babara Nadas, known for catchy tunes like “Stay” and “Overthink,” has released her newest single, “Lord Give Me The Rain.” The powerful rock ballad was transformed from a Hungarian prayer and inspired by Barbara’s grief from her deep connection with Los Angeles following the recording of her debut album Stay along the Pacific Coast Highway.
“I’m very sensitive when it comes to our mother Earth and global warming and the environment and when I heard about the fires and I saw the videos and the pictures I was devastated. When they told us that this happened because it hadn’t rained in LA at all in the winter this Hungarian song came in my mind and I thought that it would be good to have a song like this in English so I translated it because I truly believe that if we spread out energy for things, it happens. I also believe that we will get what we ask for so it’s the reason I did this. LA is such a meaningful city to me. It’s a place to go as an artist.”
Following the success of her recent album Stay and the new visual for its standout track “For You,” she continues to tug on the heartstrings of her audience with relatable stories. Themes of environmentalism, familial love, and relationships, are woven through her pop hits like “Stay,” “Lawyer of the Earth,” and “For You,” reflecting her emotional depth and nature as a writer. With the release of this genre-bending single, she proves herself as a versatile artist that utilizes songwriting to capture raw sentiments to resonate with fans worldwide. Her talent and creative vision are set to make waves as the next top artist in the industry.
