Denver-based artist That Kid is one of the most prominent members of the contemporary hyperpop scene.
Ever since his 2018 release of the single “Dial Tone,” a raunchy pop extravaganza featuring scene legends Slayyyter and Ayesha Erotica, he has been enamoring fans and peers alike with his indelible melodies, irreverent sense of humor, and salacious Twitter personality.
His charisma, charm, and lavishly catchy songwriting abilities have followed him with each subsequent release – and this is equally as true for his new track, “Full Throttle,” the first single from his forthcoming third mixtape.
“I think Full Throttle is a pretty important release for me because in a way it really sums up a huge part of my existence, aside from all the fun lines about wanting to wear a faja to the club, and smoke weed with Cameron Diaz, there’s a certain darkness within the song with lines about wanting to die or not eating.”
“I have a lot of these really fun and beautiful moments but I also can be quite dark a lot of the time.” That Kid
