Alternative duo Yellow Trash Can releases their latest nostalgia-driven single, ‘50 Lights.’ The single is a follow up to their tracks ‘Talk Nice to Me’ and Ringo’s ‘Twisted.’ The track brings together the best parts of new wave, pop punk and indie electro all in one with a twisted 80’s vibe. The track invites listeners to take a step back and look at lights across the sky, in a line, a lot and enjoy the moment. A pitch perfect track, ‘50 Lights’ features a wavy synth and coarse vocals.

“‘50 Lights,’  is a song about seeing 50 lights across the sky, in a line, in a lot, and they said it was Elon musk but I ain’t falling for that.” The band reveals

The duo released their first single, “Populated,” in June 2020 which is a wonderful presentation of what listeners can expect to hear from Yellow Trash Can in the near future. The song featured drum and guitar work from Tripilz and Wyatt Servis and also had Tony Hawk on the tambourine. The marketing plan included a good-natured online battle between two of their biggest inspirations Tony Hawk and Bam Margera. Their unique sound will hit fans across all walks of life so make sure you jump on the train early because this train is smoking all the way home.
