SINI is an Armenian-American alt-rock singer-songwriter from Los Angeles, California, known for her enigmatic style and powerful storytelling. Music started as her solace and escape from a reality where she never felt she fit in. Her journey began with classical piano training as a child, performing in recitals, singing in choir, and dancing. After losing her mother and facing early struggles with depression, SINI’s main driving force became the message: “never let the pain in this world turn your heart cold.”
As she grew into her artistry in the LA underground music scene, SINI’s independent releases—Contagious, Maybe Red, and Higher—caught the attention of producer and engineer Eric Emery, who has worked with renowned artists like Blink-182, Alice Cooper, and The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus. Together, they are working on a concept project that explores the boundaries of the human experience, female rage, and trauma.
Her style is a unique blend of early 2000s alternative rock infused with modern pop influences. Through her raw and unfiltered lyrics, complemented by her soft, melodic, yet fiery vocals, SINI offers solace to fans who see their own struggles reflected in her songs, proving that even in the darkest of times, music can be a powerful lifeline.
