How did you get to where you are now?
At the end of the day it’s all hard work, I’ve been climbing up the ladder in this business since 2011 and last year it felt like I finally hit the corner. But at the same time I still feel like it’s a lot more work to be done.
How would you describe the highs and lows of being an artist?
The Highs for me come during my performances or my project releases and it feels super good to know I’m living out my passion today. The lows suck but that’s what comes with life, sometimes I may have to do other things to provide the funding for my career.
Who are your all time musical icons?
Michael Jackson (The GOAT) , Nas, Lil Wayne especially in his younger days, but i have too many. I know I’m forgetting some.
What are some things to do to keep your inspiration alive?
I just allow myself to live, it all happens naturally.
Who is an artist that you look up to more than others today?
Nas
Favorite activity to blow off some steam?
Playing Basketball, gym workout and sitting in the Sauna. That Sauna is almost like my cleanser.
Tell us about your latest release and how it came about
“High Road” came out as the first single to my new Ep “Time is Now 3” Basically it came about based on how i was feeling at the time of writing the song. Whatever i was arguing about, happy about etc it came out on “High Road”, also New Ep coming 7/23.
What are some things you do to deal with anxiety and creative blocks?
Honestly I exercise to help with anxiety but I don’t really experience creative blocks because I only write music when my soul is ready to talk.

Who inspires your style and aesthetics?
My upbringing i’m a Maryland boy so my home the DMV for sure inspires my style and also my Caribbean background.
What is the achievement or moment in your career you are the most proud of and why?
The whole 2020 because that’s when i took my game to another level but more levels to go
What do you think is the best way to make it as an artist nowadays?
Good music of course and understanding that you are a business, brand and entrepreneur so understanding the music business is vital.
What would you change in the music and entertainment industry especially after this past year?
I’ll find a way to get rid of the money grabbers, people in this business that have no care or value towards the music in itself but instead use this business to just collect money from artists that don’t know any better.
