Baby Tate has released her anticipated single, “Pedi”, featuring production by Yellow Trash Can and Casperdoitagain. Baby Tate is newly signed to Warner Records, following a name change and a new single showing off her authentic self. Yellow Trash Can, the alternative duo based in Portland x LA released their previous nostalgia-driven single, ‘50 Lights’, on August 12th. The single is a follow up to their tracks ‘Talk Nice to Me’ and Ringo’s ‘Twisted.’ The track brings together the best parts of new wave, pop punk and indie electro all in one with a twisted 80’s vibe
“It’s quite interesting, the sound of the record initially came together and was inspired by Jerry Springer. We had been working on a bunch of tunes for the Jerry Springer re-run, and when we were going through sounds for Baby Tate we noticed for this specific beat, all the sonics we gathered for Jerry, perfectly fit the vibe we were trying to lift with Baby Tate. We only sent her one beat, and her response was PEDI!
“Pedi was produced by Yellow Trash Can and Casperdoitagain, right after we finished a track that we are releasing November 26th, called Killer. Featuring vocals from both Jason and Jitt of YTC, and production from Casper and YTC. Killer is an Alternative Rock, 90’s inspired holistic grunge tune. We hope you enjoy the melancholy guitars and emotional voicings.”
