Musician, producer, and composer Camilo Sánchez boasts a remarkable career that has taken him around the world, working with renowned artists, brands like Fender and performing at iconic festivals like Coachella. Currently based in Los Angeles, California, the Colombian artist is a key member of Monitor Collective, which released its latest single, “YUIITZU.”

In addition to his extensive career as an artist, Camilo’s impact extends far beyond the stage to jump as a music industry professional. His diverse expertise includes music consulting for artists, management, marketing, and multiple facets of the music business, fields in which he has also pursued formal academic studies.

In 2024, Camilo continues to merge his dual paths as an artist and music industry professional, contributing as a composer and producer to “Perfecto,” the latest album by Latin GRAMMY® winner Manuel Medrano and working as an Artist & Partner Relations at the Colombian company Yágueri, where he collaborates with top artists such as Luis Fonsi, Pedro Capó, Cali y El Dandee, and Kany García.

“2024 has been an incredible year, filled with gratitude and exciting experiences in music. I had the honor of contributing as a composer and producer for various artists, including Manuel Medrano’s latest album, which was named one of the best of 2024 by Billboard and Rolling Stone.

With Monitor Collective, we performed in the U.S. and released singles as a preview of our upcoming 2025 album. On the business side, supporting emerging artists as an A&R consultant has been incredibly rewarding, helping them navigate the growing music ecosystem. I also had the privilege of working on major tours within the Tour Management area. Paying close attention to every logistical detail has been one of the most valuable lessons this year has taught me.

As 2025 approaches, I look forward to embracing new opportunities while staying grounded in the present, a mindset that has guided me since leaving Colombia six years ago. Here’s to what lies ahead!”
