Following her single ‘Hoes Have Feelings Too’ last year. emerging artist Chloe Tang drops new EP titled POISONALITY. This is my first fully independently released EP since 2018 and I’m so excited to share it with you! It includes the last 4 singles I’ve released plus a feature track titled LSD- a dark, atmospheric r&b track about the depths of human connection.
This EP is all about growing into my personality as a young adult and experiencing life to the extreme in LA in order to find my true self. I couldn’t be more proud of this record and its 2 years in the making.
“The time that I wrote these songs was when I was finding and embracing my personality, after moving to LA. The “poison” part includes the darker side of me that I never knew existed. It was as if I had taken poison and it had killed all the parts of me that I had adopted from my surroundings but weren’t truly me. This is such a significant project for me because I actually took a step away from LA after 5 years and moved back home to Phoenix in order to self fund this EP. I’ve been here for the past year working on the release”
