In 2023, Malóne became one of Club Space’s resident DJs, achieved #1 spots worldwide on Beatport’s AfroHouse segment, collaborated with BLOND:ISH, and released on esteemed labels like SavedInsomniacAbracadabraand Watergate.

Earlier this year, he launched his new label/event series WHYNOTUS  – a community-oriented brand that champions artists who represent Malóne‘s cultural heritage: as a Latin American, as a Miami-resident, and as someone who believes in the true power of dance music. To celebrate the imprint’s launch, Malóne dropped an Afro-infused tech-house heater “444,” and quickly followed up with Latin-inspired tech-house track “Un Beso.”
Releasing via his new label/event series WHYNOTUS, “Rhythm Guide” seamlessly blends Malóne’s signature Latin influence with William’s love for deep grooves and hip-hop flourishes. Growing up in cities steeped in musical heritage, Malóne and Ky William both draw inspiration from their cultural backgrounds, rendering this collaboration a compelling fusion of diverse musical styles.

“It’s been an amazing opportunity to be able to collaborate with Ky, who I think is one of the best up-and-coming talents in the industry. We were really able to fuse both of our styles together to make a dope track for the dance floor. Expect more collaborations like this in the future for WHYNOTUS.”
