‘Walk’ is the brand new single by Siná Mousavian (singer / songwriter) and David Evers (producer / songwriter) aka the Danish R&B-pop duo, Feels

The track was made in the studio jammin’ with Elias Boussnina – a critically acclaimed singer from Denmark also known as “The Crown Prince of Danish R&B”. David pitched his vocals on top of a vibey piano theme and Siná wrote the lyrics about the ultimate rush of love and feeling high on life. It’s such a Summer jam!!

From having spent more or less the past 12 months in their studio due to COVID-19 lockdowns, Feels are looking at an extensive release schedule for 2021 with new songs dropping every 3rd week – ‘Walk’ being the 3rd release.

The new single is out on Friday May 28th and I’d be glad to help with a quote from the boys PLUS they’ve got a video dropping for ‘Walk’ too that I’ll make sure to get your way.

Tell us how got to this point in your career and decided to start Feels

Hard hard work. We’re from Jutland, Denmark and known for a workers mentality haha – but we’re not near where we want to be yet – one thing is for certain though.. we’re focused and on the way. One song/project at a time building our base and finding ourselves within being two individuals in a duo.

What is the favorite song you wrote and why?

Sina: Jodeci. This is the first song where I really felt like I found my voice and discovered my own sound, especially in the hook part. The process has been long and we have worked on finding ‘our sound’ for a long time. And when jodeci was written and recorded, it really hit different for me.

Who are your all time musical icons?

MJ, no doubt. An inspiration without any measures.

What are some things to do to keep your inspiration alive?

Sina: I get inspired by environments and people. I sometimes have to remind myself to step out and spend some time ‘living life’ outside the studio. Another source of inspiration is definitely also working with other artists, being in other’s studio sessions. This brings a certain level of healthy competitiveness where you want to step up your game and bring something to the table that excites/wows the people you are working with.

Who are you binge listening to these days?

Sina: The last artist I binge listened to is Don Toliver! I’m a huge fan.

Favorite movie or TV show?

Sina: Snabba Cash, the Swedish Topboy mini series. The character Salim really took the whole thing to another level! Also, I have to mention The Sopranos, that’s a series I recommend everyone to watch!

Tell us about your latest release and how it came about?

Walk is our take on a feel good, light song that still has some edge. Each verse is actually written three months apart, so the inspiration has been a little different every time.

For the video we had a vision of not taking the visuals in the same direction as the vibe suggested. So a little bit of Solange esque and a little bit of fun did it for us.

What’s the future looking like for you?

I guess no one knows what the future holds, but as long as we are able to create music and have fun with it, then that’s something we’ll always do. All the other stuff doesn’t really matter when it comes down to it.

What is the achievement or moment in your career you are the most proud of and why?

Sina: My parents always told me to go study and never really understood how and why I would use all my time on music where there’s literally no money to make unless you make it. They actually gave me an ultimatum and said you get one year to make it from now.

So one day I figured I’d invite them all to a showcase concert to make them understand the vision. We had a full band and a lot of energy. I remember I saw my aunt shed a tear of joy in the midst of It – they were blown away. I couldn’t believe it, but from that day they never questioned what I’m trying to do.

What do you think is the best way to make it as an artist nowadays?

I think if an artist can manage to have consistency and originality on the music side and then also have the social media game on lock, then it’s only a matter of time.
