LA’s Fatal Jamz shares new synthpop-tinged single “Taste The Rain”

“TASTE THE RAIN” is the first new single from LA’s Fatal Jamz since 2017. 

Its dancehall pulse and soaring hook showcase an elevated return to the group’s signature “pleasure wave” sound, filled with haunted longing. With its high drama and poised elegance, the track effortlessly evokes the era of George Micheal, Sade, and the Eurythmics, hinting at what’s to come from the band later in 2022 and into next year. Lead singer Marion Belle and company are back to claim the mantle as one of their generation’s most seminal, yet still best kept secrets.

“Taste the Rain” was the last song written for our upcoming album (more details on that soon!), as kind of a 90s / Ibiza inspired dancehall track. In the background I think we wanted something that built upon our last single “Jean Paul Gaultier.”  It’s late night, a hot breeze in the tropics, stepping onto the sand in a white bikini, redemption.
