What have you learned from playing Carlos in High School Musical? Any memorable lessons or moments?
I would say something I learned from Carlos is don’t be afraid to speak up and put yourself out there, and most importantly, remember that like a musical, life should be fun!
How much of Carlos is there in Frankie?
I would say 70%. The version of Carlos we see early on in the series was definitely a version of me in High School. All I cared about at that age was what the Spring musical was going to be. It’s all I could think/talk about!

What can we expect from your role in Chad Powers?
It’s still very early on in the process for Chad Powers. What I can share now is that it’s a really incredible and funny script. I’m so excited to get started!
Tell us about your brand. What made you want to start it?
Freeland was technically born in 2020 when I was looking for a way to connect with people while we were all stuck at home. I went live on Instagram one day and invited people to join and paint their nails with me. A few IG lives later, that would turn into what we now call NAIL PAINTING PARTIES. Now, Freeland is an extension of that!
Why call it Freeland?
Freeland is actually the meaning of my name in Latin. I also feel like it sums up the brand perfectly. At Freeland you’re free to be you, free to explore new colors, and free to have fun! It’s a no judgment zone!
What kind of response are you getting from your fans about it?
Everyone has been so excited since I dropped the news! It’s been really incredible to experience. It’s always scary putting yourself out there like that, but I know that I have so much love and support.
What’s your favorite reality show and why?
Oof. Such a loaded question. I would have to say The Real Housewives franchise has gotten me through a lot. I’m going to say Orange County because that’s what I’m currently watching. However, like a good mother, I must say, they’re all my favorite.
What’s next for you?
I’m so excited to see where the future of Freeland takes me! I have so many ideas to last for the next two years, so I’m really excited to see how all of that will come together!
