Across four tracks, including previously released singles Shouldʼve Known and Right Now, Mya captures the highs and

lows of the short-lived romance, while posing the question – was this love, or just another case of limerence?

The final track features fellow South Londoner Tiana Blake on the remix of Shouldʼve Known. The duo candidly confess theyʼre hurt, whilst sending out a warning that they will get revenge “Now I gotta be a b*tch back, you donʼt wanna see me like that…”.

“I’ve always loved R&B, but felt like the genre needed a fresh perspective – we’re no longer in the 90s/00s! ‘Love or Limerence’ serves as my contribution to redefining the genre.

I started working with VELLI a little over a year ago and we just instantly clicked. We had no plans to make an EP, but I soon realised I’d unintentionally told a story through the music, and Love or Limerence naturally took shape. I’m so excited for this body of work to finally be out in the world and even more excited for what’s next to come.”

Similarly to the tracks that have already been released, “Love or Limerence” as a whole package showcases her growth and commitment to pushing her boundaries of R&B. As she forges ahead, her genre-blurring artistry ensures that her journey will continue to captivate her listeners and beyond.
