Tom Penny’s love for hip-hop was ignited at the age of 16, where he began freestyling which fueled his devotion to rapping.
“Writing how I feel is the best form of therapy for me, turning some of my darkest moments into music.” Taking influence from the likes of Kendrick Lamar, Loyle Carner and J Cole, his unique sound and storytelling style echoes the works of these artists.
The album ‘Both Sides Of The Coin’ features a mixture of upbeat fast paced lyricism as well as slower melodic rhythms. Featured track ‘Fiya Fiya’ has seen great success so far across Spotify as well as ‘End Of The Road’ which draws the listener in for a more intimate and emotional scenario that reminds them of the blooming stages of a new relationship.
