The hip hop, rap and hyperpop inspired single is taken from many more of the upcoming songs throughout the year by the rising sensation. Coinciding with Aisho’s 25th birthday, the DLB music video is out to be served, too.

With DLB, an abbreviation of Daddy’s Little Bitch, Aisho shouts his emotion of purely craving for being “daddy’s” plaything. Speaking about the new single, Aisho explains: “There’s no deep meaning with DLB. I just wanted to have something we can dance to without any thoughts. Just pure joy with PC music-fused psychopathic beats.”

What’s your story as an artist?

ーI grew up in the suburbs of Nagoya, Japan.

I was homeschooled until the 3rd grade in a religious household and didn’t speak much Japanese until I started attending public school.

I was questioning my sexuality around the age of 10, but i was more confused because i been told multiple times “gay people go to hell” as a kid.

At that time the only thing that saved me was music.

Music was my hiding space, a way to escape from reality and create my own bubble.

And It’s still the same now.

My main goals as an artist is to share my experience and to be able to give people hope ♡

What inspired your new track DLB?

ーMy alter ego.

Last year I dropped my first mini EP “Sleeptalk” with topics that cover Self love, Sex and long waited love.

A bedroom pop concept that was based on my dream journal.

Lyrics are based on things I would never say out loud, but only in my sleep.

I already had the idea before I dropped “Sleeptalk” that I wanted to do something completely different for 2022.

Almost a year ago I started writing “DLB” (Daddy’s Little Bitch)

As soon as I started writing, I really couldn’t stop.

A hyperpop/ hiphop/ PC music inspired track where I’m just trolling and talking shit.

There’s also a continuation of DLB, which you’ll get to taste by the end of the year ^_−☆

Do you get inspired by other art forms?

ー100% yes.

From artists to objects, big things to small things, I do get inspired on the daily.

Any funny anecdotes from the time you were recording or writing this?

ーI actually saw a tweet that said “If you have daddy issues, you’re a people pleaser but if you have mommy issues, you’ll end up being a serial killer”

And I kinda mixed the both into one song.

I don’t remember if I saw the tweet before I started writing or in the mid of writing but that tweet made so much sense to me and I remember being like omg DLB.

What’s your favorite place or environment to write?

ーPlace doesn’t really matter as long as I’m in my own bubble/ mood.

What’s a record that shaped your creativity?

ーLady Gaga – The Fame (Album)

Who is an artist or band you look up to today?

ーI have so many artists I look up to in general.

Ariana Grande has been one of my biggest inspirations vocally throughout the years.

Creatively, Lady Gaga.

Overall, Nicki Minaj has inspired me to not just stick with one genre but to get out of my comfort zone.

What excites you the most about what you do ?

ーCreating something from scratch is what I think excites me the most.

It’s a process but I do love every part of it.

What is your view on genres and music styles since you mix a lot of them in your music?

ーEvery genre has their own culture and I love how artists mix genres and put their own spin on it.

I think it’s beautiful.

What does music and art mean to you?

ーEverything.

How would you describe your act in one word?

ーThis year? Chaotic.
