Acclaimed electronic producer LÂLKA is set to unleash her latest work, Willfire, a fierce and fiery EP that channels her relentless creative force. Released on November 6, 2024, via Tomboi Records, Willfire showcases LÂLKA’s unique ability to blend intense, club-ready beats with culturally rich and introspective narratives. The EP has already captivated listeners worldwide with standout singles Yves Klein and Yuh, creating buzz in anticipation of the full release.
Inspired by the Chinese philosophical concept of Zhi; (志), which signifies personal will and aspiration, Willfire delves into the force that drives LÂLKA to create and connect through music. “Zhì Huǒ symbolizes the fiery passion and determination that fuels my creativity,” says LÂLKA. “It represents the energy that propels dancers on the dance floor, ligniting their spirit and losing them in the music. This EP captures both my inner drive and the intense, spiritual experience it offers to listeners.”
