Buzzing 21-year-old singer-songwriter Jewels Gold — known by many for her viral TikTok covers and original performances — shares her debut singles collection, composed of six singles that she shared over the last six weeks.

The collection concludes with the last single (out now), a majestic 6+ minute track entitled “Royalty / Life Is Meant To Be Lived,” inspired by Queen’s “Bohemian Rhapsody” and The Beatles’ “Golden Slumbers / Carry That Weight.”

Over the last six weeks, Jewels has shared total of six singles, along with a live video performance of each song. This is the final single in the series.

Her style, crazy vocal skills and overall attitude make Jewels the perfect candidate for stardom.

“I wrote ‘Royalty’ during quarantine, feeling like I was missing out on life. I started with the lyrics ‘Wake me up when this is over, I don’t wanna feel until it’s something real.’ I was 20 years old and knew my whole life was ahead of me and I was stuck at home, so I wrote about my dreams for me and my whole generation — sharing how when this is over, we will make the most of what life has to offer.”

When I finished writing ‘Royalty,’ it became my favorite song I had ever written, and everything I wrote after that didn’t resonate the same way, until I wrote ‘Life Is Meant to Be Lived.’ One day, I was playing ‘Royalty’ on my piano and then played ‘Life Is Meant to be Lived.’ Once I heard how the songs blended into each other melodically and sonically, I knew that they belonged together as one long song.”
