Sinéad Ann represents the essence of modern folk. Her music is haunting and beautiful, rebellious and empowering. Drawing inspiration from alternative rock, the German-Irish artist paints a sonic image that brings us straight to the stunning landscape of ireland.
Her latest track ‘Four Walls’’ Sinead depicts the clash between mortality and spirit, plagued with fear, isolation, and the shadow self. The single anticipates new music coming out in December and leaves us hanging on the edge of chairs.
The track is ensconced with obsessive images of nightmares and revenge and the awakening is filled with guilt. However, the end result is a clear realization of the character’s strength and inner power to overcome what haunts her.
Sinéad has previously supported talented artists such as Rhys Lewis in 2019 and kicked off 2023 performing at Celctic Connects in Glasgow. In May 2023, Sinéad headlined alongside Reylta at An Taibhdhearc in Galway and is set to support D.Cullen in October 2023.
