I wrote this song in a dark place of trying to understand why I was repeating cycles with people in love that were reminding me of my childhood, with the pain and hurt that I went through. I think this songs serves a purpose in more ways than one, just admitting that as humans we all long and search for connectivity, love and understanding. I’m so grateful that I can turn to writing and music to unleash my feelings and inner-thoughts, translating into art that others can relate or connect to.”
